I have always been a believer in uniformity in the the service industry. When you go to the service department at Lexus, Mercedes, BMW and Cadillac you will always find clean well dresses service people. You know who they are by the uniforms they ware.
I have been a home inspector for many years here in the Los Angeles area. When my clients and Realtors call on our service they know exactly they are going to get. My truck will be clean, I will take the time to shave and be in uniform. Black shirt khaki pants and black shoes. I recently read a blog post about a Home Inspector that was called to a home for a GHI. The Inspector showed up in a older Toyota pick up with the head light hanging out over the front bumper. His attire was blue jeans and a white T shirt. The T shirt said KIM- CHEE Cures Bird Flu. Not at all funny to her Koren Client. Who Informed her Realtor not to allow inspection and walked off the property. Granted some people need a sence of humor but at whos expence. What does your home inspector say about you?
